The PROT-List
PROT list viewed in MS-iExplorer: Move the mouse curser over the image to for details. The PROT list contains mass-deconvoluted peaks, located in mass & retention time as well as a unique label for each peak. Each peak may be a conglomerate of several peaks in the CEMS list, identifiable by the label. The probablity value is a measure of confidence for the identified real-mass substance and should be read like: "There‘s a ...% chance of actually having this and that substance/mass in the sample." This value may not always agree with your personal judgement as it is highly dependent of the examiners point of
view and prior knowledge of the experimental parameters. |
